\u201cLetters of 1916\u201d
\n<\/strong>Collection day with Neale Rooney <\/strong>This drop-in event will include an introduction to the \u201cLetters of 1916\u201d digital humanities project by Neale Rooney. Neale will also assist the public using internet PCs and a high powered camera to digitise their letter. RE:Public<\/strong>\u00a0– An exhibition that will explore the use of sound in art 100 years after The Art of Noises<\/em> was first made public and published in book form. It will do this by utilising the radio broadcast that was sent out by the rebels from the Dublin Wireless School of Telegraphy on the corner of Abbey and O’Connell Street. This broadcast took place over the Easter Rising period and is widely considered one of the first worldwide radio broadcasts, if not the first.<\/td>\nMarket House, Gorey, Co.
